- Tenders are invited for Alice Water Treatment Works and Reservoir Upgrade and Augmentation THE SCOPE OF WORKS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: a. Raw Water Inlet and flocculent Dosing and Mixing Systems; b. Sedimentation Basins and Autonomous Gravity Sand Filters; c. Chlorine Dosing Systems and Sludge Ponds and Effluent Recovery; d. Clear Water Pump Station; e. New Concrete Reservoir and remedial Works to Existing Concrete Reservoir; f. Upgrade of all Electrical Components and Systems; g. Compilation of O&M Documentation and Training; and h. Provision of Testing and Laboratory Equipment. The minimum specifications are detailed in the Bid Document. Bidders should have a contractor grading designation of 8CE or higher. An attendance register to be completed on-site for the briefing and site inspection. The cut-off date for all bid related queries will be 31st May 2022. All queries to be submitted via email to the relevant contact person as indicated in the tender document. Bid Documents (Available in English only) are Obtainable from Monday, 9th may 2022 at the Purco Sa Offices in Midrand. The Bid Documents can only be Purchased Online on the Purco Sa Website (www.purcosa.co.za) at a Non-Refundable Fee of R1 150.00 (Vat Included). Bid Documents will not be Available for Purchase at the University.
