• Tenders are invited for Appointment of an Electrical Contractor for the Upgrade of 4 X 500KVA 11/.415KV Mini Substation. Closing Date: 18 May 2023 Bid documents must be deposited in the tender box marked “APPOINTMENT OF AN ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR FOR THE UPGRADE OF 4 X 500KVA 11/.415KV MINI SUBSTATION” located at the reception area at Adam Kok III Building, 75 Hope Street, Kokstad not later than 18 May 2023 at 12h00. Bidders must attach the following mandatory returnable documents to be considered for this bid and must note the applicable conditions: • Price (s) quoted must be firm and must be inclusive of VAT • Copy of CSD (Central Supplier Database) summary report (not older than 3 months) • Certified copy of company registration documents (compulsory) • For Joint Venture Agreements, attach the CK-s of each of the joint venture members (if applicable) • Certified ID(s) copies of company director(s) • Original or certified copy of valid B-BBEE Certificate or original Sworn Affidavits (failure to submit no points will be awarded) only SANAS accredited or Sworn Affidavits will be accepted. (A trust, consortium or joint venture must submit a consolidated B-BBEE Status Level Verification). • Copy of current municipal account for all Director/s and Company (not older than 3 months) or copy of lease agreement from the relevant authority. If the business is operated from the residence of one of the Director/s, an original affidavit, certified, must be submitted stating the address of the premises preferably from your local SAPS office. • Printed copy of tax clearance certificate accompanied by a pin for further verification. • Completed and signed Municipal Bidding Document attached to the tender document. Decommissioned Mini Substations to be transported to Electrical Department Stores, 1 Eliot Street, Kokstad 4.3. Supply, Delivery, and Installation of 4 x 500KVA 11/.415KV Mini Substations 4.4. 8 x MV Joints to be carried out. 4.5. 8 x MV Terminations to be carried out. 4.6. 15 x LV Joints and Terminations to be carried out (LV cable varies from 16mm² to 95mm²) 4.7. Supply 95mm² x 3 Core PILC Steel Belted Table 19 x 30m 4.8. Supply 24 x 95mm² Ferrules 4.9. Supply 24 x 95mm² x 12mm Bimetal Lugs 4.10. Supply 8 x MV Splicing Kit 4.11. Supply 8 x MV Termination Kit 4.12. Supply 15 x LV Termination Kit (LV cable varies from 16mm² to 95mm²) 4.13. Supply 70m x 70mm² Copper Earth wire 4.14. Construction of 3500mm(L) x 1 500mm(W) x 1000mm(D) plinth
