Tenders are invited for Appointment of a service provider for Technical Assistance (TA) on Budget Development The service provider to be engaged will be required to: · Expected to participate in the budget discussion and preparation, particularly during the grant making planning cycle; · Assist in preparation of budgets for respective activities to be included in donor budgets in line with relevant procedures and requirements. · Document detailed budget assumptions and calculations; · Phase out the budgets into months and quarters in accordance with latest activity/action plans; · Ensure all budget items are in line with relevant requirements, including donor requirements The service provider must have the following appropriate experience and qualifications: · Bachelor-s degree in management accounting, financial accounting or equivalent · CA registered with Professional body/ institute in Accounting profession in SA · Knowledge of strategic and financial planning including activity costing, benchmarking, donor fund tracking and KPIs. · Experience in budget preparation and reporting · Knowledge and experience in financial reporting to large institutional funders such as the European Union, DFID, USAID and the Global Fund · Good understanding on issues related budget costing in donor fund environment. · Demonstrable knowledge and work experience in professional report writing · Experience of writing similar reports, and presenting issues in an accessible and · engaging manner · Ability to write concisely and present information clearly · Ability to produce high-quality work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision
