Description:
Tenders are invited for Black Sash Digital and IT Programmes Support (3-Month Contract). The Black Sash is a 67-year-old veteran human rights organisation advocating for social justice in South Africa. It is working towards the realisation of socio-economic rights, as outlined in the SA Constitution 1996, with an emphasis on social security and social protection for the most vulnerable particularly women and children. In the course of our work, we will explore options to significantly reduce poverty and inequality. The Black Sash believes the implementation of socio-economic rights demands open, transparent, and accountable governance (state, corporate and civil society). To this end we promote active civic engagement by all living in South Africa made possible by a strong and vibrant civil society comprising community-based organisations, non-governmental organisations, coalitions, and movements. WORK TO BE UNDERTAKEN Programmes reporting: - Maintain and manage the Zoho Creator-based Black Sash Monitoring and Evaluation System. - Provide data capturing and report draw-down support to Black Sash staff. Community-Based Monitoring: - Develop and maintain online platforms for data capturing. - Participate in relevant staff and project meetings and workshops. - Assist with the production of CBM reports. - Load reports and other information onto the CBM website REQUIREMENTS The consultant needs to provide evidence of experience in the NGO sector with: - Zoho Creator or other CRM platforms - Setting up, managing and drawing reports from Google Forms - Setting up data analytics platforms displaying the results of Google surveys. - Managing websites. Interested service providers must submit their proposals by Friday 13 February 2023.
