Description:
Tenders are invited for Geotechnical Investigations for The Lusikisiki Regional Water Supply Scheme (lrwss): Zalu Dam Project. Geotechnical and materials investigations are required to investigate the availability of construction material, the presence and orientation of any subsurface geological discontinuities, determine the estimated dam foundation levels and dam foundation treatment, investigate suitable location for the founding of a gauging weir and to determine the validity of the available information. non-refundable fee of R500.00 is payable for each set of bid documents. Payment is to be made by either bank deposit or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) only (no cash or cheque payments will be accepted) and is to be made payable to Amatola Water, Nedbank, Account No. 1210394685, Branch Code, 198765. The proof of deposit is required upon collection of the tender documents. No tender documents will be sold at the briefing meeting. COMPULSORY BID CLARIFICATION MEETING A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place on the 13 December 2022 at 10:00am. The meeting will be held on site at the Zalu Dam Site (coordinates 31° 18' 55, 4" S, 29° 28' 37, 3" E) approximately 15 km North-west of the town of Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape. Tenderers must appear on the attendance register to be considered as being present. Deadline: 27 January 2023 at 11:00am.
