Tenders are invited for Grahamstown Fencing Work Scope Of Work Perimeter Fencing Scope of works The perimeter must be protected by means of installing galvanised diamond mesh fencing. Access gates to be constructed with the same stature and height of the fence. • Sliding gates Scope: This specification covers material requirements and installation of security fencing and gates, for the project. Work Included • Furnish and install fence and gates, and accessories as required and shown. Submittals: • Certificate of compliance for materials and coatings. • Quality control program shall be submitted to Sentech for review prior to commencement of any work Products: • All steel materials shall be of good commercial quality and be galvanized. • Zinc coating shall be smooth and essentially free from lumps, globs, or points. • Miscellaneous material shall be galvanized Galvanised diamond mesh fence. • Fence Panel Aperture: 50mm • Wire Size/ Gauge of wire: 2.5mm • Panel Height: 3000mm • Material: 500 Mpa - 750 Mpa High Tensile Wire Coating Insulation Option: Galvanized, Polyester Coated PVC, Powder Coated, HD Galvanised & PVC Coated (coastal application) • Security Level: Maximum Post: • Post foundation shall be 600mm x 400mm² 30 Mpa concrete Topping: • Galvanised concertina coil(700mm) and bracket to be installed at the top of the 3m fence. • Perimeter length: • Panel Height: FOUNDATION • Post foundation shall be 600mm x 400mm² 30 Mpa concrete Free standing Electric Fence • 21 strands free standing electric fence. • Remote controlled energiser • Visible fence indicator lights around the perimeter Compulsory Briefing Session Date and Time 23 September 2022 @ 11h00 Closing Date: 30 September 2022 @ 12h00 Closing Time: 12pm Validity Period: 90 Days
