Medupi Hydrogen Generating Plant and Distribution system
Scope Details : HYDROGEN PLANT Hydrogen gas is used as a cooling medium in the turbine generators. The gas is used because of its thermal conductivity and very low-density properties. In order to meet the hydrogen requirements at Medupi Power Station, hydrogen shall be produced and stored on site. The gas produced shall be of high purity to ensure safety and generator long term plant health.
