Description:
Quotation are invited for Repairs Services, Roof Leaks (Waterproofing) at the CIDB Centurion Offices. The General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works, Third Edition (2015) published by the South African Institution of Civil Engineering, Private Bag X200, Halfway House, 1685, is applicable to this Contract and is obtainable from www.saice.org.za. The General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works make several references to the Contract Data for specific data, which together with these conditions collectively describe the risks, liabilities and obligations of the contracting parties and the procedures for the administration of the Contract. The Contract Data shall have precedence in the interpretation of any ambiguity or inconsistency between it and the General Conditions of Contract. 1. BSL3 Laboratory access must be restricted so that only authorized persons are permitted to enter the facility. Restricted access must be provided through an access control system or equivalent 2. Biohazard warning signage indicating the biosafety level and other relevant information (such as the international biohazard warning symbol and entry requirements) must be posted at the entrance to the facility 3. Access to the BSL3 laboratory must be through an anteroom. The anteroom doors should be selfclosing and interlocked so that only one door can open at a time 4. Anteroom to include clothing change area(s) that separates "clean" change area from "dirty" change area for personnel entry / exit through the containment zone 5. Provision to be made for an emergency eyewash in accordance with containment zone activities 6. All penetrations of the containment barrier, including all conduits and wiring must be sealed with nonshrinking sealant that is compatible with the disinfectant(s) in use 7. All floors, walls and ceilings must be impervious and washable 8. Any seams in the floor, wall or ceiling surfaces must be sealed. Continuity of seal to be maintained between the floor and wall, wall and ceiling
