Quotation are invited for Replacement of Air Conditioners for the City of Umhlathuze Economic Development. Advertisement Date: 02 December 2022 Closing Date: 09 December 2022 1.1Equipment to be replaced a) New air con installation at - Richards Bay civic center  1 x 12 000Btu Split unit - Gugu Nyoka-s office  1 x 12 000Btu Split Unit - Lindiwe Ntombela-s office  1 x 12 000Btu Split Unit - Dumisani Mabanga-s office  1 x 12 000Btu Split unit - Nomandla-s office  1 x 24 000Btu Cassete unit - HR boardroom b) Air con Replacement - Richards Bay civic center  1 x 12 000Btu split units - Gugu Gazu-s office  1 x 12 000BTU split units - Other office  1 x 12 000Btu split units - Gwala Sabelo-s office 1.2New air con Installations a) Supply, deliver and commission air conditioners described in 1.1 (a) above. b) Supply and install new piping complete with amoflex pipe insulation throughout. c) Drain pipe to run from the unit to the foot of the building d) Where possible service provider to use slow radius bends on drain pipes instead of Sharp bends to prevent blockages e) Seal openings on wall with silo form and make look good. f) Provide new individual power supply from the closest distribution board g) Provide new 32A weather proof, Double pole air con isolator (see appendix A) h) Connect newly replaced air con units on existing air con isolators above i) Affix a sticker with air con unique number to the installed evaporator units. j) Provide remotes for all units with batteries and fix their holders against the wall on each office/boardroom. k) Give brief presentation to the office occupant on how the air con is operated - register for such training to be submitted with invoice on completion. l) Commission newly installed air con units m) On completion advise the project leader for the inspection of completed project
