- The Water Partnerships Office (WPO) is a ring-fenced entity owned by South African Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS), housed within the the Development Bank of SouthernAfrica (DBSA).In 2024, the WPO and IFC signed a cooperation agreement to support the design and implementation of the National Water Partnerships Programme (NWPP). The WPO and IFC require support from a strategy consultant with experience in the development in infrastructure programs, policies and knowledge of the water sector, to develop of the SeawaterDesalination Program (SDP) as a standardised programme under the NWPP.
