Description:
Tenders are invited for Structural Maintenance of Ngwelelzane Rate Hall. Advertisement Date: 02 December 2022 Closing Date: 09 December 2022 Procurement Less than R200 000 (including vat) The scope of works cover  Repair to wall cracks.  Prepare the area with sanding paper and paint scraper before applying paint  Repaint Rate hall, Managers office, Enquires offices and Cashiers office, including walls, ceiling board (ensure that frame, furniture is not painted and clean all the stains before you leave site)  Take out and remove existing broken and loose floor tile.  Supply and install new 500 x 500 Porcelain floor tiles  Clean all the existing tiles, using chemicals cleaners  Take out and remove existing broken gate  Make, supply and install hot dipped galvanized sliding gate, 1.8 x 5m  Supply and install gate motor, suitable for heavy duty. Motors must comes with 2 x remote.  Raz Racks to fit the size of the gate, and Anti-Theft Bracket - Padlock built in  Safety standard procedures to be followed by contractor during construction period. All employee to ware correct PPE 1. Preliminary & General 1.1 Supervision weeks 3 1.2 Health & Safety requirements (Safety file) Sum 1 1.3 Medicals Sum 1 1.4 Transportation Sum 1 Total carried forward to summary sheet 2. Paintwork 2.1 Interior wall 2.1.1 One coat bonding liquid and two coats interior quality paint to match existing paint. All paint to be approved by SABS M2 549.12 2.3 Ceiling board 2.3.1 Remove all loose paint, apply one coat bonding liquid and two coat of ceiling paint match existing colour M2 239.4 3 Tiling Expansion joints in tiling: Tile movement control joints shall be provided internally and externally in accordance with the tile manufacturer's recommendations. Joints shall be primed and sealed to widths and depths required with a silicone sealant to match tile colour. Rates for tiles. 3.1 Edge Trims Edge trims: 3.1.1 7mm 'Tal Small' hard extruded plastic tile edge trim sealed behind tiles with adhesive at horizontal and vertical corners. M 100 3.2 Floor tiling Allow the prime cost amount of R300-00/m2 NETT excluding VAT for the supply and delivery to site only of 500 x 500mm porcelain floor tiles and add for taking delivery, storage, wastage, profit for fixing to screed (elsewhere) with an approved adhesive 3.2.1 On floors and landings.
