Description:
Tenders are invited for Upgrade and Additions at Khanyisani Primary School in Ethekwini Metro, Kwazulu-Natal Bid documents can be collected from the CDC Umhlanga Office, 18 Cranbrook Crescent, Umhlanga, Durban from 24 April 2023 from 10h00. A non-refundable bid fee of R 700.00 should be deposited to Account Name: CDC - DoE; Standard Bank, Account No: 080 224 555, Branch Code 050 017 and proof of payment is required upon collection of the bid documents. No tender document will be available at the Briefing Meeting. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED Bidders shall be registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and should have a minimum active CIDB Contractor grading of 7 GB or higher potential emerging contractors with 6GB PE CIDB grading are not eligible to make submissions and will not be considered. (b) The following legislation shall apply: (i) Public Finance Management Act (PFMA); (ii) Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000; (iii) The Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022; (iv) The CIDB Act 38 of 2000; (v) National Treasury Regulations; (vi) Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Act (85 of 1993); (vii) Compensation for Occupational injuries and disease Act (130 of 1993); (viii) B-BBEE Act Number 53 of 2003 (as amended by Act number 46 of 2013); and (ix) Any other applicable legislation. (c) The CDC Procurement Policy shall apply the 80/20 preference point system, as per the Preferential Policy Framework Act 2000: Preferential Procurement Regulation 2022. The allocation of preference points will apply as follows: (i) Price - 80, (ii) Specific Goals (B-BBEE Status Level of Contributor) - 20.
